MentorLink International, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Email MentorLink International recognizes many of its users live in restricted
countries. To them and to all, we pledge ourselves to respect users’ need
for privacy and for confidentiality. We will not rent, sell, or exchange your
e-mail address with a third party, or with any governmental agency of any country,
for any purpose.
We collect e-mail addresses of all who mentor and
receive mentoring via MentorLink International or who communicate with us via
e-mail for the sole purpose of internal review and to improve the content of our
Web pages.
We would only use your address to notify you of upcoming events
or new areas on our own website. If you do not wish to receive e-mail from us
in the future, please let us know by sending your email to us at mlodesk@mentorlink.org and telling
us that you do not want to receive e-mail from MentorLink International.

User Uploads You agree that you will not upload to MentorLink International
or transmit any communications or content of any type that infringe or violate
any rights of any party. By submitting communications or content to any part of
this Site, you agree that such submission is non-confidential for all purposes.
If you make any such submission, you automatically grant--or warrant that
the owner of such content has expressly granted MentorLink International a royalty-free,
perpetual, irrevocable, world-wide nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, create
derivative works from, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform,
and display the communication or content in any media or medium, or any form,
format, or forum now known or hereafter developed. MentorLink International may
sublicense its rights through multiple tiers of sublicenses.

of Yourself and Your Children Pedofiles and other sexual perverts can
contaminate the best of websites. The very nature of international mentoring makes
it impossible for MentorLink International to verify the character of everyone
using the website. We rely upon the MentorLink International community at large,
over time, to affirm or refute the character of all users and the quality of all
posted materials. Thus, by utilizing this site, you must protect yourself and
your children.
Talk with your children about the dangers of the Internet.
Much good can come from relating to people in cyberspace, but much evil has also
been documented. Talk to them about the evil.
Locate the computer screen
in plain view. Children who use the Internet with parents in view are less likely
to engage in dangerous situations.
Teach children to protect their personal
information. Last names, city, gender, age, school name, pictures, and phone numbers
should never be revealed. Same for financial information, including credit card
numbers.
Ask your children to show you with whom they are corresponding.
MentorLink International wants parents to know what advice and information is
being given to your children. Report suspicious incidents. If your children feel
they are being stalked online, contact law enforcement officials and MentorLink
International immediately. Call the FBI's Cyber Tipline (800-843-5678).
Use
web "filters" to block objectionable web sites, chat rooms, and other areas online.
Copyright
Restrictions: MentorLink International owned content is protected by putting
copyright and trademark rights legends.
Third party content must not violate
the ownership rights of the author and/or their publisher. Generally, this is
accomplished by getting permission of the copyright holder(s) to reproduce and
distribute copyrighted material online. If no permission is available, but the
material is otherwise available online, you may limit your reproduction activities
to linking to the desired content.
MentorLink International has the right
to edit, modify, or delete content as they see fit.
