Mexico
September 12 – 19, Bill Mann will be traveling with a group from his church to serve a local family who are missionaries in Vallez, Mexico, a city of 400,000 people. They have one of the largest churches there and will be assisting with a 3-day forum covering a variety of topics.
There are five men going: two are leading worship, one is teaching on prayer, and Bill will be leading a discipleship class using 40 Days with Jesus in Spanish. He will also be passing out DVDs for them to use and teaching participants how to use DWJ to disciple others.
Please pray for the forum – that God will be glorified and that hearts will be transformed by learning how to lead like Jesus!
Nigeria
From our partner Samuel – “Greetings from Jos, Nigeria. I was in Niger Republic for a missions conference last week. As you may know, French and Hausa are the two major languages of that country. I gave away some 40DWJ DVDs and SD cards in Hausa to the church leaders and missionaries at the conference to disciple their followers. This was really wonderful. They haven’t seen such a rich discipleship tool before. I even promised to send more copies to the missionaries who couldn’t get a copy.” Please pray for these leaders and missionaries as they return to their homes: that they will be refreshed and renewed as they make disciples!

Bill Mann, former MLI board member also wrote to tell us how he has been using Days with Jesus here in the U.S. “I have been mentoring a local Young Life leader in the area for a couple of years. He’s going to try out using DWJ with his High Schoolers. It should work well with millennials who don’t like to read, but will watch YouTube. Let’s pray for this to work well for the Kingdom.” Let’s pray for much fruit and that these teenagers would encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
