In October, our partner’s team went to Davao del Sur and Davao Occidental to conduct a couples’ retreat, two youth conferences, a teachers’ seminar and mentoring workshop. This project was almost cancelled because of illness, but through the prayers of the Saints, the Lord brought healing.
The total number of participants was 443. Glory to God, indeed!
Our partner says “Thank you very much for your partnership in prayer. Many heard the gospel, the youth were discipled, the pastors and workers were challenged, the couples committed to make God number 1, their spouse number 2, their children number 3 and their ministry number 4. Praise God.”
They also challenged the key leaders to handpick 30 youth leaders and young pastors to be trained next year. This is in line with their goal of preparing the next generation, a new breed of Spiritual Leaders.
