Romanian Leaders Conduct Mentor Training in Kazakhstan

We want you to see the kind of people God has and is raising up through your investments in our ministry.

Petru and Gina Bulica are from Timisoara, Romania. They recently returned from ministering in Kazakhstan. Of all the Muslim “stans” Kazakhstan is the most open to the Gospel. With only the New Testament and four books of the Old Testament and the Psalms translated into their language, Kazaks are hungry for the Scriptures. So great is their joy in finding Christ that new believers often compose their own lyrics which are sung in churches to the same tune.

What makes Petru and Gina’s trip amazing is twofold. Some of the women who came to Gina’s women’s conference traveled two days and one night by train—with their small children in tow. They came from all parts of Kazakhstan and beyond. Secondly, God enabled Gina to deliver all eight of her sessions amidst tremendous hardship. Her medical condition of scleroderma caused problems with her esophagus, making it difficult to eat or sleep. Confusion over their accommodations meant that Gina and Petru slept in someone’s living room, with no door, sleeping head-to-toe to make the mattress passable.

In spite of everything, Gina and Petru left Kazakhstan with a deep sense of peace that God had called them there and given them a significant part in raising up leaders in this vital country. Please pray for them as they sense the pressing need to train and mentor national leaders in Kazakhstan.

Again, thank you for your interest in this ministry to develop leaders for the Body worldwide. There are many people we serve who share the same passion and sacrifice in their own ways so that leaders in their part of the world will lead more like Jesus.

Serving the King,
