Jesus taught His disciples to pray.  He gave them a model prayer we call “The Lord’s Prayer” as a guide to lead them into intimacy with the Father and pray for His Kingdom. He taught them that the very nature of prayer is persistent asking, seeking and knocking. We pray earnestly and consistently because we know the Father’s desire is to give good gifts to His children.
