What does it feel like to be really loved? When any of my grandchildren visit, they run to me as I do to them. I pick them up, hug them and am so delighted to be in their presence. They seem to feel the same.
Abba is just like this with you and I. He is so thoroughly delighted to see us and to be with us. “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him (Psa 103:11).”
Today as you think about Dad, please enjoy His love for you. Like a child or grandchild who hasn’t seen you for some time, He is delighted to see you and be with you. Thank Him for being your Dad.
