“The Holy
Spirit is given to the believer to be and
to do everything in him that God wants him
to be and do. The Spirit is given to him
especially as the Spirit of prayer and supplication.
Is it clear that everything in prayer depends
on our trusting the Holy Spirit to do His
work in us? We must yield ourselves to His
leading and depend only and entirely upon
Him.”

Be Ready!
Nov 20, 2009
This past week, I have been having my devotions in Matthew 24-25 where our King discusses His return. What struck me was His admonition to be ready. Am I ready?
What does it mean to be ready? There are many possible answers. For me the answer includes my desire to see Him. I reflect this regularly with the prayer, “Come quickly Lord Jesus!” It includes my longing for being eternally in His presences. It also includes the focus of my life in relation to what He values. Then it also includes how I am conducting my life today. Am I abiding in Him?
What does it mean for you to be ready? Read Matthew 24-26 and ask Him to reveal to you what it means for you. If you like, I would appreciate hearing from you how He wants you to be ready. Please e-mail me at StacyRinehart@MentorLink.org
Come quickly Lord Jesus!
Waiting expectantly, Stacy Rinehart
