“The Holy Spirit is given to the believer to be and to do everything in him that God wants him to be and do. The Spirit is given to him especially as the Spirit of prayer and supplication. Is it clear that everything in prayer depends on our trusting the Holy Spirit to do His work in us? We must yield ourselves to His leading and depend only and entirely upon Him.”

  Life Change
Jul 10, 2009

We regularly pray for training events in different parts of the world. Last month we prayed for a team conducting mentor training in Caripe and Caracas, Venezuela. Lives really do change in these events. Here is the testimony of one pastor.

“Well, I want to tell you some good news. My wife and I attended the Mentoring Seminar in Caripe. We were unaware of how much it would nurture my wife and me on a personal level. I was confronted spiritually and my soul was broken, and my mind was awakened enormously. It was an explosive experience on the inside, and I was able to reflect on my role and the place where I am leading in the church of our Lord Jesus Christ. Brother, after hearing the brothers Frank Hankins, Pedro Hernández and Aner González, my soul is stirred, and with my brother believers I want to change the style of leadership in the church. This comes as a result of the seminar that I received. I want to thank our God and continue in my commitment with these brothers to step up day by day.”

Prayer is a tool the Spirit uses to open hearts.
As you go to conferences, sit in a church service, participate in a small group or think of a ministry or missionary, take a moment to pray for hearts to be open and lives to change to more reflect Jesus. In doing this, you will be co-laboring with the Spirit.

Looking to Him,
